Michigan State Police Arrest Sandusky Man on Child Exploitation Charges

SANDUSKY, Mich. — The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force has arrested Justin Emil King, 41, of Sandusky, on charges related to the possession, distribution, and creation of child sexually abusive material.

Investigation Uncovers Evidence of Child Exploitation

The MSP initiated an investigation into King after discovering he was sharing files containing child sexually abusive material on the internet. During the investigation, authorities seized digital evidence from King’s residence, which led to his arrest.

King faces multiple felony charges, including:

  • Two counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material
  • Two counts of distributing child sexually abusive material
  • Three counts of child sexually abusive activity
  • Seven counts of using a computer to commit a crime

Court Arraignment and Legal Proceedings

King was formally arraigned in the 73-A District Court on Friday, February 21. If convicted, he could face severe penalties under Michigan law.
