Grand Rapid’s Ford Airport’s Holiday Music Festival Brings Cheer to Michigan Travelers

Holiday Spirit Takes Flight at Ford International Airport

The Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids is once again embracing the holiday spirit with its 28th Annual Holiday Music Festival, featuring performances by local school choirs. The event runs from December 2nd to 6th in the Grand Hall, just before the TSA checkpoint, with performances from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily.

This year, 10 West Michigan school choirs will participate, performing 20-minute song sets to delight travelers and visitors. The lineup includes:

  • Byron Center West Middle School
  • City High Middle School
  • Coit Creative Arts Academy
  • Lee High School
  • Legacy Christian School
  • Ottawa Hills High School
  • South Christian High School
  • West Side Christian School
  • Wyoming High School
  • Zeeland Christian School

“We are thrilled to welcome talented school choirs from across West Michigan to the Airport this holiday season,” said Tory Richardson, president and CEO of the Gerald R. Ford International Airport Authority. “Their performances will fill the Airport with festive melodies, creating a joyful atmosphere for our guests, partners, and staff.”

The Holiday Music Festival has become a cherished tradition, bringing together the community and enhancing the travel experience during the bustling holiday season. All performances are free and open to the public, providing a warm and festive environment for those traveling through Michigan’s second-busiest airport.
