Drug Task Force Seizes Record Amount of Cocaine in St. Clair County

On October 15, 2024, just after 9:00 pm, a traffic stop was conducted on a semi-tractor trailer on Pinegrove Ave near the Bluewater Bridge. 

During the traffic stop, approximately 370.7 lbs of cocaine were located inside of the semi. This amounts to approximately $16.5 million.  The suspect is being held at the St. Clair County Detention and Intervention Center awaiting arraignment.

Units involved were the to St. Clair County road patrol, K9 Brock, Port Huron Police Department, Michigan State Police, and Homeland Security Investigations.

This seizure is the largest drug bust in the history of the Drug Task Force and the Sheriff’s Office. The DTF remains committed to fighting narcotics trafficking in our community.
