BRONSON, Mich. – A licensed daycare facility in the City of Bronson, Branch County, was the target of a law enforcement raid on Thursday. Detectives from the Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET) South Office, along with the Michigan State Police Canine Unit, executed a search warrant, uncovering illegal narcotics and a stolen firearm inside the residence.
Cocaine, Hydrocodone, and Stolen Firearm Seized
During the search, police confiscated several illegal narcotics, including cocaine and a large quantity of hydrocodone, packaged in a manner consistent with sale and distribution. Additionally, officers recovered a stolen firearm at the premises, escalating the severity of the charges against the suspect.
35-Year-Old Woman Arrested on Multiple Charges
Authorities arrested a 35-year-old woman from Bronson, who was taken into custody and lodged at the Branch County Jail. She faces numerous felony charges, including possession of a stolen firearm, destruction of evidence, child neglect, use of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and maintaining a drug house. Law enforcement officials indicated that additional charges may be requested as the investigation progresses.
